HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?FOR THE INDIVIDUALAs an individual you can take part in many ways:
IF YOU ARE A CLUBTo make GoBack2School a success and a truly inter-club initiative we are seeking your club’s active involvement. As executive members, we’d love for you to collect sponsorship and wear your school uniform on GoBack2School day and encourage as many of your club members to do the same. We also need people to assist with the promotion of the event uni wide and the running of events on the day. Please be thinking about what activities your club can take ownership of and run on the day and skills which you club can contribute, looking at your strengths and resources. PEOPLE'S STORIES"GoBack2School is a fantastic excuse to dust off and squeeze back into that school uniform you always loved, play handball and act like you are 16 again, all while collecting money for a great cause and reminding each other how privileged we are to enjoy the benefits of an education! Back2School is also a great way to share our concern for and love of those less fortunate with others on campus. Last year we helped raise money, through donations collected on the day, for school students in Bangladesh. I'm looking forward to donning my tie and pleated skirt again this year!" Leah "I was almost not going do it last year because I thought I had no-one to ask for sponsorship but gave it a go anyway, went early to my lectures, asked people sitting around while waiting for the lecturer...ended up with over $100" Alison "Getting involved in GoBack2School last year was a unforgettable experience - By helping to promote the event through postering and word of mouth, and collecting donations on the day, we raised funds for TEAR Australia to provide much needed health and educational support for children in Bangladesh. The best part of the day? Having a laugh spending the day as if we were back in high school again!"
